Terms of sale

The short version: pay for what you order, get full-resolution photos or a print made just for you, and we will make it right if anything goes wrong.

Who you are buying from

VK Photos is the photography business of Vitaliy Kotyakov, based in South Carolina, USA. These terms apply to every order placed on this site. By placing an order you agree to them, along with our shipping & returns policy and the photo license.

What you can buy

• Digital downloads of single photos or of a whole gallery: the full-resolution original files, without the watermark shown on previews.
• Prints in 4 × 6 in, 5 × 7 in, 8 × 10 in, and 13 × 19 in, made to order on Ultra Premium Glossy paper and shipped unframed.

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping is a flat amount per order that includes prints, however many prints you order.

Ordering and payment

Checkout sends an order request; nothing is charged at that point. Vitaliy Kotyakov reviews your request and sends payment details for the order total to the email address you gave (Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or PayPal). Your order is confirmed once payment arrives: downloads unlock as soon as payment is received, and prints ship after payment.

Until you pay, you can cancel simply by letting us know or by not paying. We may also decline a request, for example if a photo is no longer available. Either way, nothing is charged.

Every order gets an 8-character order code and a private order page. Keep the link: it is how you check your order and download your photos. If you lose it, you can find your order with your email address and order code.

Digital delivery

Once your order is paid, its order page shows a download button for each digital photo or gallery you bought. A full gallery downloads as one ZIP file. Download buttons are refreshed every time you open the order page, and each one works for 7 days.

Please save your files somewhere safe after downloading them. We keep the originals and are glad to help you download again, but we cannot promise that every photo stays available forever.

Prints

Prints are made to order by Vitaliy Kotyakov. Paper and screens show color a little differently, so a print can look slightly different from the photo on your screen. When you order, you choose whether the whole photo fits on the paper or is cropped from the center to fill it. Production times, shipping and what happens if a print arrives damaged are covered in shipping & returns.

Refunds

Because prints are made just for you and downloads cannot be returned, we do not offer refunds for a change of mind. Damaged or misprinted prints, and duplicate or mistaken digital purchases, are reprinted or refunded as described in shipping & returns.

Copyright and use

Every photo on this site is © Vitaliy Kotyakov. Buying a download or a print gives you a personal-use license, not the copyright; the photo license explains what that covers in plain English. Watermarked previews and screenshots of them may not be used in place of a purchase.

Photo removal

If a photo shows you or your child and you would like it taken down, send a removal request. Requests are honored promptly and never cost anything.

If something goes wrong

We take care with every order, and if something goes wrong we will put it right with a reprint, a fresh download or a refund as described on this site. Beyond that, our responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you place an order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, USA. Questions? Get in touch.
